The Anointing that Destroys the Yoke.

I believe this is such an important word for this time.  I pray you will receive the impartation that goes with this revelation and that the Lord will establish it in your life.

A couple of Sunday’s ago I was privileged to preach at an Apostolic church here in Aberdeen.  It is supposed to be Pentecostal but as must as what that means here.  Basically they believe in the gifts but no one operates in them and most have never experienced them in any form.  The new pastor, who is a tremendous blessing (my personal pastor at the moment) has started teaching the people about the gifts and is encouraging them to step out.

Well the message the Lord has been impressing on me – which I believe is for the whole body right now – is being “Full of and Controlled By”.  The Lord has been showing me that for the power of God to be released in the earth today – and we need it to be released –  we, the body, have to have the faith to believe the anointing that abides in us.

1John 2:24 – the Amplified version – says “But as for you, the anointing (the sacred appointment, the unction) which you received from Him abides [permanently] in you; [so] then you have no need that anyone should instruct you.  But just as His anointing teaches you concerning everything that is true and is no falsehood, so you must abide in (live in, never depart from) Him [being rooted in Him, knit to Him], just as [His anointing] has taught you [to do].”

Luke 4: 18 (The Message)
God’s Spirit is on me; He’s chosen me to preach the message of good news to the poor, sent me to announce pardon to the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to set the burdened and battered free, to announce, “This is God’s year to act!”

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon ME, because the Lord has anointed and qualified ME………. to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor and afflicted; He has  sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes of those who are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord (the year of His favour) and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn….. etc

What the Lord is saying that no matter what situation we go into – what temptation and trial we face – we need to believe the anointing that abides within us.  He showed me that when the anointing that abides within in us is released by faith – because of the time we spend with Him – and becomes connected to the anointing that is released upon us – then the power of God is released through us.  You want to see the miracles – then start believing God for the anointing to come upon you to connect with the anointing that abides within you.  It’s all about Him remember.  The more time you spend with Him the more your faith will be developed to release that anointing within in you to connect with the anointing that He will place upon you.  The picture He used was Michelangelo’s painting of David(?) reaching up to God and God’s finger coming through the cloud to touch him.  This was why Jesus was able to do what He did as He walked this earth as a man.  Just after He was baptised He was led into the wilderness by the Spirit of God.

Then Jesus, full of an controlled by the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Holy Spirit.
4:14 Then Jesus went back full of and under the power of the Holy Spirit into Galilee, and the fame of Him spread through the whole region about.

This is why in Luke 4:18 Jesus is teaching the people about the anointing.  It worked for Him and he wants it to work for us.  Remember it takes mustard seed faith but you need to spend the time with God so that the anointing can come upon you and connect with the anointing within you.
